Donald Joseph Qualls, better popularly known as DJ Qualls is an American model and actor. In the years since he gained fame for his part as a character in Road Trip, he's appeared in over 20 movies. This includes The New Guy Hustle & Flow, The Core and The New Guy Hustle & Flow. Alongside appearing on Breaking Bad Supernatural, Scrubs, Lost Law & Order, and numerous others. Qualls was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at age 14, and has battled the disease ever since. After two years of treatment the cancer was cured. However, the early treatment had severe effects on his health, and slowed development. Security in the financial realm was his primary objective once he began because he had experienced poverty throughout his life. When he was interviewed, he mentioned that if I don't achieve the financial security or feel out of control in the world, then I'm going to feel miserable. He looks back on his childhood, and has a desire to take action against the bullying. "Cruelty is a pain to me," he said. The ideal character for him in films as well as in real life is the father. He admits that Directors do not cast me in those roles. He would like to be a father himself in the future, when he could be able to spend less time to his career and more time to his son.
